Demi Lovato is drumming up excitement for her new album on Twitter.
The singer is releasing Confident in October, her first record since 2013’s Demi.
To celebrate the occasion, she shared the sexy artwork on her official account. In the picture, the 23-year-old looks toned, wearing a black leather-look top and tiny underpants.
“You ready for this? NEW ALBUM OCTOBER 2015 #Confident (sic),” she captioned the shot.
Proving she has at least as many famous BFFs as Taylor Swift, Demi also enlisted 12 of her pals to tweet the names of the tracks. She kicked it off herself with title song Confident, with boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama sharing second tune, Cool for the Summer.
Gossip blogger Perez Hilton, actress Hailee Steinfeld, singer Bea Miller, rapper Iggy Azalea, TV star Ryan Seacrest, songstress Christina Perri, pop icon Jennifer Lopez, heartthrob Nick Jonas, cool guy Adam Lambert, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and socialite Kim Kardashian also leant their services by tweeting tracks.
But it sounds like Demi’s popularity might not go down well with Taylor. She’s known for bringing huge names up on stage with her, with Selena Gomez cropping up last night.
Selena is also close to Demi and last week they professed their love on Twitter.
“IM so grateful you were born. #nomatterwhat #forever #haveTHEbestbday (sic),” Selena gushed, with Demi replying: “@selenagomez I’m so glad you were born too… 😛 #forever #nomatterwhat (sic)”
Apparently it left Taylor feeling a little put out.
“Taylor wants to be everyone’s BFF, and she freaks out if she is not the most important person in each of her friends’ lives,” a source told celebdirtylaundry.com.
