”Andy and the Rockets” is a Swedish Rock’n’Roll band whose sound combine modern rock and classic rockabilly. Inspired by legendary artists such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and the Rolling Stones, with influences from bands like Foo Fighters, Mötley Crüe and Airbourne. This mashup ends up in a modern and exciting Rockshow with sporadic flashbacks to the 60’s signed Andy and the Rockets!
The song “Ghost in this Town” shows, like the previous release “Hot Black Desert” that Andy and the Rockets continue to move towards a more rock sounding, darker and rawer sound, both musically and lyrically.
The song reflects the journey between hope and despair you are in when you try to put something behind you but still can not let go completely, perhaps because you have realized that you yourself are the culprit for the drama.
