In a much-anticipated development, Oasis legends Noel and Liam Gallagher are looking to recruit Zak Starkey, son of Beatles drummer Ringo Starr, for their upcoming reunion tour in 2025. Starkey, 58, was a key part of Oasis during the band’s later years, contributing to albums like Don’t Believe the Truth and Dig Out Your Soul. However, a falling out with Noel Gallagher meant he didn’t join them for their final shows before the band’s split.
As rumors swirl about who will take the stage alongside the Gallagher brothers, it has been reported that former band member Andy Bell is set to rejoin. Fans are also speculating that Starkey may take up the drummer’s seat again. The Gallaghers are said to be “keen” on bringing him back, adding to the excitement of the reunion.
The tour will kick off in July and August 2025, with stops in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Plans for shows outside Europe are already in the works for later in the year.
While the full lineup has yet to be officially announced, reports suggest that founding member Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs is confirmed to return, and former guitarist Gem Archer is “very likely” to rejoin as well. The excitement continues to build as Oasis fans eagerly await the full reunion lineup for what promises to be a historic tour.
