With elements of Soul, Funk and Rock n Roll, it is an honest rendition of Lu’s prowess as a Soul Vocalist. Lu Chase is considered one of the hardest working women in show business by her peers and this truly shows on this album (due for release late Spring)
The lead single off the album #SouldOut , “By My Side” is a fun song which marries all the genres from the album as it contains elements of funk and soul and a dash of vintage rock. The music video was shot on location in Braamfontein as Lu wanted to showcase the beauty of Johannesburg. The song is a fresh take on new soul with a booty shaking feel.
